Binghamton Geomorphology Symposium

Texas State University has been selected to host the 48th annual Binghamton Geomorphology Symposium in October 2017. This international conference brings together leading scholars in geomorphology and a themed topic. The topic of our symposium will be Resilience and Bio-Geomorphic Systems. The conference will be led by the Department of Geography (Julian, Meitzen, and Butler as conference organizers) but will also include the Department of Biology, Department of Sociology, the Sustainability Program, the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, and the School of Engineering at Texas State University. The University of New England (Armidale, Australia) is a co-sponsor of the conference. Below is a list (in no particular order) of confirmed speakers for the symposium.
