Master of Science Degree
First Semester
- Identify a three person supervisory committee including a chairperson and submit paperwork to Allison
- File a Program of Study with the graduate college
- Complete GEO 5309 and earn a grade of A or B
Second Semester
- Formulate a thesis topic and submit to supervisory committee
- Present thesis proposal
- Complete GEO 7300 and GEO 5301 (if not completed in first semester) and earn a grade of A or B
Third Semester
- Submit written formal thesis proposal to the Supervisory Committee
- Submit proposal approval form (signed by all committee members) with final proposal to Allison to route to the Graduate College
- Pass comprehensive examination
Fourth Semester
- Apply for graduation
- Submit thesis to supervisory committee
- Complete signature page for final approved thesis
- Submit thesis and signature pages to Graduate College
- Submit a copy to Allison on a CD-ROM.
