The James and Marilyn Lovell Center gratefully accepts any donation that will help us pursue the center's mission, and these donations are tax deductable!

We also provide donors the ability to specify how their donations are spent. For example, donations earmarked "Graduate Student Scholars" will be pooled and allocated in $100 increments to support student scholars who are presenting their work at professional meetings (e.g., conference registration, travel, hotel, and meal expenses). When funds allow, we will also allocate money to cover travel necessary to undertake fieldwork in support of student scholar theses and dissertations.

Donations earmarked "IFFL" will be used to help defray International Flash Flood Laboratory workshop expenses (e.g., food/beverages, nametags and the like).

Unspecified donations will be used to support the annual distinguished lecture series (e.g., speaker's fees, travel expenses) as well as minor expenses associated with our informal "Research Discussion Series."

When sending a check, please make it payable to "JMLC-Department of Geography". If earmarking, indicate how you would like the donation to be used on the check's "memo" line. Any organization or company that chooses to make a significant tax-deductible donation will be recognized through display of its logo on our website and a link to its home page.
