The Department of Geography at Texas State offers the master of science (M.S.) degree, and the master of applied geography (MAGeo.) with specializations in resource and environmental studies, geographic information science, land management, and geographic education. The department also offers the PhD in environmental geography (will change to PhD in Geography effective Fall 2015), geographic education, or geographic information science.
