Teacher Consultants are geography professionals who work with TAGE to advocate for geo-literacy and help teachers improve the educational experiences of K-12 students. The TCs assist teachers and school districts to attain and exceed state-mandated student proficiency in geographic knowledge and skills.

TAGE schedules various workshops throughout the year and calls on our TCs to lead these workshops. TCs also schedule one-day workshops in their region and receive support from TAGE to lead these workshops. It is with the indispensable support of our Teacher Consultants that TAGE is able to promote geo-literacy and educational outreach throughout Texas
