Since its launch, the Geography Career and Internship TRACS site has logged more than 80,000 user-visits both by geography students and geography alumni searching for career information, internship / job postings and networking opportunities. Thanks in large part to the assistance our geography alumni, the TRACS site displays hundreds of job and internship descriptions every year which have helped many Texas State Geographers get their careers started or make a career advancement move. The Texas State Geography Department Alumni Business Card Directories provide alumni contacts, job titles and names of organizations that employ geographers. Connections made through the directory have helped many geography students find contacts for informational interviews, job shadowing, internships and full-time employment.
