2024 Alumni Reunion & Student Celebration
We look forward to seeing you again for our 30th Alumni Reunion & Student Celebration on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment. Since a 30th anniversary is associated with pearls, our theme this year is:
From oysters to pearls, Geography yields treasures.
We have a great schedule of activities including:
3:00 pm - Registration and Check-In
3:30 pm – Scholarship and Award Ceremony
*business casual attire requested for ceremony*
5:00 pm – Happy Hour and Networking
6:00 pm – Dinner, Music, and Dancing
9:00 pm – Farewells
The online registration deadline is Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11:59PM. Registration includes dinner and entertainment. We encourage pre-registration to help us plan for a successful event.
PLEASE - No pets. Service Animals are welcome.

ARSC History and Purpose
Since spring 1995, the Geography Department has hosted the annual Alumni Reunion & Student Celebration (ARSC) to:
- foster the continued involvement of Texas State geographers in the department,
- provide a social network for Geography students past and present, and
- most importantly to "Celebrate the Spirit of Geography."
Whether you're here to catch up with old friends, visit the faculty, recruit aspiring young geographers, or just want to talk geography, we're always glad to see you.
